wiring diagram for 2006 wrangler?

Hello all, I just bought a 2006 wrangler, would that be a TJ? Wondering if anyone knows where I can find directions for the wiring to hook up the back wiper? The seller gave me the wiring and the resovoir, but has no directions. Thank you for your time-Ron

actually i wanna know the same thing, i have an 06 that came factory with a soft top and half soft doors. the previous owner bought an aftermarket hard top and hard upper doors, the hard top has the hook up for the back wiper and defroster but there is no wiring on the tub to hook into the hard top

Factory service manual for the '06 (published by Chrysler) has all the wiring schematics in it. Check ebay.

GOT IT! Thank you so much for your time.-Ron One question, By looking over the diagram, it seems like you wouldnt hook this up if you wanted to take the top off and on, is that a correct assumption?

Thats what the plug in the back corner is for. The wiring stays in the vehicle and you just unplug the top then take it off.

No the wire harness for a hardtop does not come on ones that were shipped with only a soft top. You have to buy the wiring harness then run it yourself.

Hmmmm... My soft top has the wiring harness for a hard top built in. I use the wire for the heated rear for my back up lights...

Dual top and hard top optioned models have the wiring. Yours was a dual top or someone added the soft top.

Downloading the FSM is actually illegal, it's copyrighted material. It's been discussed here and generally discouraged. I prefer a good old fashioned book with paper pages in front of me when I'm working on my Jeep. The 30 bucks was well worth it.
