Wiring for the hitch, please someone help

I gotta wire the Jeep for pulling my boat, can someone help with it please? If I buy the cables (i am sure it has a name for it), will I connect it directly from battery? Also how do I run the wire? Inside of the Jeep?

I am sure some one did it....

Thank you in advance

if you look on quadratec or JC whitney they have wire kits that plug directly into the tail light harness inline so you don't have to cut anything.

I used the little clips that clip into the wires. Probably not the best option, but it works fine.

That's what I would recommend too. You can often find them sold at Jeep dealerships, trailer supply stores, and some 4x4 shops too. Or just order it from Quadratec (probably the highest price and shipping charges though), 4Wheel Parts, or JC Whitney.

Thanks, I hate to butcher my wiring and spending a few dollars for a plug in harness is worth it in my book.
