wondering if i need a SYE.

im plannign on buying rough country 3.25 lift kit, and well wondering if ill need a sye, i know that a 4" lift is recommended, but how bout 3.25" but im also wondering whats the best 4" lift for decent price, i dont want to be spending more then 500-600bucks, got tires and mags to buy, which is going to kill me -_- also ive heard nothing but good about old man emu, and theyre descently priced, what you guys think?

Every jeep is different, if it makes weird noises or sounds, you'll probably need an sye. But i suggest waiting for a second opinion. I have a 3 inch lift on my jeep and never needed an sye, but i do have a t case drop.

Sounds amazing, purrs at low rpms, roars at high rpms. Basically sounds like a muscle car.
This is me:
Hook your computer up to some good speakers so you can hear the true sound.

I was lucky and it came with the jeep when i got it, but im sure you can find prices online, it's kinda expensive but it wont rust and itll last forever so its worth it.
It doesnt come with a catalytic so you can get a magnaflow or flowmaster cat instead.

I've got that same setup through Borla. Mine also came with the Jeep, but man it does sound amazing. I've gotten quite a few compliments on it, it's a nice deep purr and really sings when you open up the throttle. It is a little loud (but that's the point right?), so expect to raise your voice a little more when talking

Also, you shouldn't need a SYE at 3.25, even at 4" most people not rock-crawling or heavily off-road can get away with not doing a SYE. If you're getting some weird vibes or noises, then it might be wise to look into the Tom Woods SYE (heard many good things).

Also out of everything I've researched, once next May hits, I'm going with the Zone 4" lift kit. I can't find a negative thing said about the kits, Google the company.

that is the point to be honest
and yeah i did, thing i hate those, is just the shipping costs.. i live in canada.. like zone, i have to call to ask about shipping here, might cost more, i checked OME and comes out to 710 with 145smackers for shipping. or the RC is 369.** and shipping comes out to 5**.** something, i want 4, but i think 3.25 will be better since im only going to probly go for 32"to replace my 31" or imaa stay with 31" idk yet got 3 weeks to figure it out, then its time to empty my bank, and fix upp my toyy

With 31s, 4" looks a little high with a significant gap. If you're looking to go 32s or stay 31s, I'd probably go down to the 3.25 or even 2.5 because you're going to have a big gap. I'll be running 31s/4in. because I know down the line I'm moving up to 35s. The Zone lift apparently is actually still manufactured in the United States, just one of their distribution offices is in Canada, from what I've heard.

thats exactly what i was thinking, i could probly fit a person in the gap theyll be, but then imma go with the RC 3.25 cheaper, and well still good flex possibilities, plus later down the road if i go for 33's theyll fit nicely, Now i just gotta save my money... god theyres ganna be a lot of crying going on everytime spending that money.. 540$ on lift.. 200-350$ on sound system(deck, speakers).. Tires & mags.. 200 a pop for each tire, 50-60 per mag. a grand right there.. and i kinda feel like getting 5 tire and mag, so nicee wheel to show instead of my stock spare, which actually isnt stock since its a 16" dnt have clue what wheel, .2 grand atleats to be leaving my pocket..

BUT WHO CARES

OH also wanted a second opinion on this... i want to get wheel spacers, ah a bit of width to the toy. not worryed about scratching up against flares, bc of the 3" extra lift, and i wont be doing any hardcore crawling, so not worried, but anythign you ever hear against them/?

Order from North Shore Off Road in BC, they will include everything (tax&Shipping) in the quoted price and I guarantee they will be cheaper than anywhere else. I am ordering BDS suspension parts from them cheaper than you can get it in the states and shipped to my door.

If ti where me I would save the money for the sound system and put it toward a more comfortable and capable lift, and if you have the four banger pacesetter makes a nice exuast very reasonable to,I've own my pacesetter four about 5 years now with no problems and it makes the four banger sound great
