My Tj won't start up and if giving a 06-02 code. It's a 2006 4.0 manual.
I looked up the code and it says
P06-02 ECM Fueling Calibration Error: ECM Internal fault condition detected.
I have searched threads and have found nothing about what that actually means or how I can start to work on it.
It started getting a bit colder around here lately but nothing too crazy. It seemed to me that it was taking an extra second or two to turn over but I just thought it was because it was cold out. I went out two days ago and tried to start it and it would not turn over. My dad helped jump it and I drove down to the river took the dog for a walk and when I got back in it still seemed like a weak start up but it did turn over. I went out today, my odometer still displays when I open the door and the gauges light up but it will not turn over. It has been throwing the code randomly for a couple weeks, but not every time, sometimes you start it up and it runs fine.
I have not felt any change in performance after I have got it started.
Installed some rear corner guards about three weeks ago, took off the tail lights and evap canister to get in there but reinstalled everything fine as far as I know.
I bought a new battery approx, two months ago.
Any ideas/solutions are appreciated.
