Wont stay in 4lo

04 Tj with 6" lift 4.0L 42RLE. When I pull the 4 wheel drive shifter to 4lo it hits my console. Is there an adjustment or a bracket to fix this problem??

Have you crawled underneath & adjusted the linkage?

6" lift might be a height where you need a Novak shifter cable.

Only had this jeep about two weeks. Between work and rain I haven't been under it for this problem yet. Is the stock linkage/cable adjustable?

I had the same problem

Your linkage could have disconnected
The cable shift linkage will soon be your best friend
The stock linkage is a pain

It's still connected because I can hold back on the shifter and it will stay in 4lo. It's just hitting the console. Seems as if it just needs adjustment but again I'm not sure if the stock linkage is adjustable.

I was having the same problem... But I think it locks in but I don't get a light... Am I supposed to get a 4 lo light?

Yup there is a bolt (1/2" if I remember correctly), loosen, adjust on the metal rod, & tighten.
