Wrangler Transmission

Will the manual trans from a 1994 4.0 Wrangler interchange with my 2000 4.0 manual trans Wrangler?

If I remember rightly I'd say they are both AX-15's for in those years. I can't remember exactly when they got rid of the Puegot in the YJ's, but pretty sure it was prior to 94.

94 was a 4.0. The 4.2 was last used in 89 I believe.

IMO, Puejunk transmissions were used for one year only (88-89), at least in the wranglers. I had one in my YJ and that POS tranny is the main reason I got rid of my YJ.

The 94" AX-15 should be able to replace the 00" nv3550, 3500 (no sleep can't recall which is the right number..lol) with only some adaptors if if even that. Look at advanced adaptors or Novack for what you need.

nv3500 is the 6spd in the 05/06 rubicons. I believe you are referring to a nv2550, not sure though.
