Sweet smell = coolent. I had it on mine. I could not find a leak anywhere! I drained and put new fluid in, and checked it for 6-days. Not a drop was lost! Not even a wet spot. Then while I was putting on the body lift, I had to take the radiator off its supports. When I removed the fan shroud thats when I saw a small leak. It was from the top right corner of the plastic top. So I replaced the radiator while I was doing the lift.

adding my vote for coolant. those stock radiators are junk. i had to do mine recently as well. the plastic on them is a weak spot.

X2 on the coolant, check heater core area, otherwise check water pump on the block

If you think something might cross the line enough you have to mention the mods should delete, maybe it's best you refrain from posting it.
