I want to lift my TJ Sport and I'm looking in to assembling the lift from different manufacturers. I guess I'm looking for recommendations.
I want to run 33x12.5s, I'm purchasing new rims that will have a backspacing that won't rub. I'll be a freshman in college and I want to build my jeep to the point where I can drive it on the highway back home and retain offroad performance while at school. My jeep came with the optional D44 Rear geared at 3:73. My questions begin.
Do I need to get adjustable control arms all around if I want to maximize flex and smooth ride? I've seen people here posting that only adjustable uppers are necessary... Is this true? Obviously I would buy lowers that would fit the size lift I need if I only bought adjustable uppers.
What would you recommend for springs and shocks? I had the 3.5" coils from Rough Country on my Cherokee and I loved them but this is a different jeep. I'm looking for a nice smooth ride.
To start, I'm thinking about a 3.5" lift. Will I need to drop a SYE at this height? If so, would it be possible to swap my other NP231 case with PORC SYE from the Cherokee into the TJ? Will I need an adjustable track bar at this height?
Anything else I would need when lifting at 3.5"?
