ZJ-TJ Front Springs

I am getting ready to swap out my front springs with a set I pulled off a '98 ZJ.
Depending on how much lift it gets me I will probably also be going with some 0"-2" OME shocks. Ive heard a lot of people use crown vic rear springs as well but they sound like they would raise the rear 3+" which isn't what I'm looking for. Im assuming with my winch and my factory rake that I will only want 1.5"-2" max in the rear (well see after I swap them).

Essentially I want to boost the front to the ZJ ride and then level the back. I would prefer to avoid spacer but am not 100% against it. Does anyone know of other springs out there that would boost you that 1"-2" and provide a nice ride? If I do end up with a full 2" or close to it OME's are considered for the rear as well.

I will post pics and actual information on what the ZJs are like compared directly with the TJ's and what it does to my ride. I was having a hard time finding many of the specifics I'm looking for, so this will also turn into an info guide on the swap. I am going to add as many details as I can think of so if anyone has any questions please ask and I will do my best to get an answer while I'm doing the swap.

A few of my personal questions I'm planning on answering:
a) do the ZJ and TJ have the same coil count and extended length?
* if they do I should not need to modify my bump stops
b) how much actual lift do they provide?
c) how much of a change to the ride "feel" I assume its going to be stiffer, but how will it react.

Good thread, my TJ has a 2" lift and is raked.... I want to level it out so maybe some springs from a zj will do the trick.

V8 ZJ springs worked perfect to level mine. I had a 2 inch BB front and rear, swapped the front with the ZJ springs and I now sit on 33s.... comfortably. My rockers measure 21.5" up front and 22" in the rear. Its a little stiffer than stock but handles really well. BTW my fenders are cut so i dont rub but a few guys have installed a 1 inch BL to help with that.

So you kept the 2" bb in the rear and then used zj springs for the front? Did you change out the shocks?
