12pt 1/2" socket for cylinder head? Need one that fits...

Has anyone found a socket that works for the head bolts with the studs on them? The regular bolts are no issue. I got the head off using a socket that sort of fit, but it was either fit on the bolt or have the extension seated in the socket. This really isn't going to work for torque-ing it down.

I've tried Sears, HD, Lowes, no one seems to have on that is tall enough for the stud extension, or if they are tall enough, the hole in the end isn't machined big enough for the stud.

Hoping for something I can order online instead of driving around aimlessly again.

Thanks.

can you get it with a crow's foot? when you torque with a crow's foot though, make sure the foot is at a 90 from the torque wrench or you are changing the level arm length and your torque will not be what is indicated

Yeah, I suppose a crow's foot would do it. Didn't think of that approach. I guess if I get desperate enough I might chase down the snap-on guy.
