1987 yj lift

Hello I'm new to this and I just bought my first jeep it's a 1987 yj with a 2.5 in lift on 33/12.5/15. I like it but would like to clear 35" and don't know what lift I need was thinking about converting to spring over axle but was told it is unsafe and too top heavy open for ideas need some advise thanks.

Younggun here is a link to inform you as to what is involved with a SOA conversion. It is a pretty serious operation and if it was me I would just get a 4" lift kit to clear the 35s unless you are into serious wheeling.

Here is a shortcut to the "YJ lift review thread". It is a good one full of all kind of info on all kinds of lift kits. It really helped me pick mine but I'm not a serious wheeler just an occasional trip off road. GOOD LUCK
