1987 YJ Wrangler 5 speed 4wd shift

Hi All, I purchased a Canadian built 1987 5 speed Wrangler.I really like it. Is it OK to shift the transfer case into 4High while driving at highway speed? I know you have to stop to shift into 4low.
also , I had a 82 Chevy pickup that when you took it out of 4wd ,you were supposed to stop, and back up the length of the rig to make sure all was disingaged. Does the Wrangler I have require this?
Thanks, John

Shift on the fly to 4h up to 55 and back to 2h. 4l put it in N , shift to 4l roll back about 10' then forward, same for shift out of 4l. Works on my rig atleast....
