i bought a 302 from advanced auto parts one time. it was cheap and held up ok. i've heard lots of people ordering from jasper with mixed results. i'd watch craigslist, theres always someone swapping out for something bigger.

hey now.....cut the 2.5's some slack

hey holley, do you already have a 2.5L? what's the drawback of just having a machine shop rebuild it?

sorry just had one with the 2.5, i was running 31's and that poor tranny didn't last long with all these hills around here. it just sucked for power too much. sorry man i had one, and couldn't stand it after long, would be nice to have more power though. on the other hand, our club pres has a 4 cyl and he runs 37s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
