1989 yj... new toy... many questions.

i picked up my first jeep down in louisiana, when i got it the lift was unknown, soa, chevy 3/4 ton axles, 4.56 gears, tc drop, and 42" tsl's. my guesstimate is a 2 inch body lift, possibly 5 or 6 inches in the leafs and shackles, and 2 inch blocks. i wanna get rid of the blocks (never trusted em) but keep relativley the same ride hieght give or take a couple inches.
-what leafsprings would compensate for the blocks being removed?
-anyone ever tried frankenstiening different makes and models?
-how much would these leafs run?
main concern is good flex, and long life. mine are sagging. i could care less about how it rides on the pavement.
also im trying to figure out how to take off the dash panel so i can redo wiring.
any help would be greatly appreciated and awarded with a freeze frame mid air high five

Yeah Ive heard their springs have phenomenal flex. Do you know where they're located out of?

lol! I'm stupid. It's alcan spring. Anyway....

Alcan Spring - Manufactures Fine Custom Leaf Springs

And yes they will flex for you. Not cheap but what is for a jeep really.

Haha its alright, I knew what you ment. I did a little research and ive seen guys putting waggy springs on their yjs. Since I already have the shackle lift I think it would be safe to assume that they would work, and the 7 stack would last alot longer than my 4. Plus the price for junk springs or even new ones is alot cheaper. Infantry budget isnt all its cracked up to be haha

Those work but I am unsure how much lift they would give you to equal out taking out the blocks. In theory they should give you a couple inches so they might work and removing the blocks is a good idea imho.

I think you can get new waggy springs for around a hundred a piece. I am not sure i would get used ones because they could be shot too. Just remember you'll get a bit of stretch out of them too so be aware of that considering clearence.
