1990 4.2 6 cyl Ignition Control Module - where the hell is it??

My 4.2 has just had a nice MC2100 carb upgrade and worked great, for about a week Then started cutting out, stalled/died altogether, replaced coil... worked for 500 yards... towed home

Now I gather it's likely to be the Ignition Control Module. I can't find this. Can someone post any pics... is it supposed to look like this?

Or here

The manual states it's on the passenger side firewall.... nope!

Some other guys here have said it's against the drivers side, beneath the battery on the firewall....

I can't find anything that looks like the above. I suppose it's conceivable that 20 years of PO's someone may have swapped something (else!) around

Haylp!

Mine was below the coolant reservoir, bolted to the wheel well.

Just like booboy 75 said. If it's not there someone made a modification, but I bet it's there. Should be held on with 3 10mm bolts.
