1990 4.2 ways to add power?

I have a 1990 4.2 straight six that has 175,000 on it. I've been thinking about swapping it out for a 350 but thats to much out of my price range. So, i want to take the 4.2 out and rebuild it. I was wondering what would be the best/ cheapest ways of adding some power to this engine?
