1992 YJ - Not Firing, Help?

I just got a 1992 YJ and I am having some issues. It has started to not crank consistently. It will crank and when I stop and shut it off, it will not crank again. I just had the crank sensor replaced and that has not fixed it. Jeep is also idling really low and actually is now going dead at times when coming to a stop, and then not wanting to crank. Any ideas? I dont want to continue wasting money with the mechanic. Jeep runs like a champ when it is running. It is 4.0 6cyl.

Might be a fuel problem, check your fuel lines for kinks change fuel filter, replace fuel injector, or use some stp fuel injector cleaner :P

I had similar problems...that are now fixed :P (try the STP+93 octane gas and run a fuel tank with 2 bottles of stp)

Thanks for the suggestions, and I will keep them in mind. I had to end up going back to mechanic yesterday. It would not cooperate at all. They, knock on wood, got it corrected this time. They replaced the TPS. I believe this is for the throttle. The old TPS was reading at 86% throttle when the Jeep was sitting still. It should be in the range of 0-3%. It is now cranking correctly and idling the way it should. Lets just hope this fixes it for awhile. Thanks, again.
