1994 yj 4.0 mt pcm failure

What pcm part numbers can i use for replacement?

My pcm # is 560282891 will any other part number work?

Note verify all wiring of sensors before applying power. My o2 sensor put 12v on the sensor ground pin. I have put a jumper wire from engine ground to this pin and the motor runs, but sensors are now generating codes.

Depends on the failure. I'm not sure what you mean by the symptoms you're explaining.

If you replace the PCM, you must use the same number.

Replaced the PCM with one from a 1995 Cher Works fine! have one error code referencing the Fan Relay being open. All looks good.

have found that all PCM units from 1991 thru 1995 will work fine for the motor ( ignition, injectors map, throttle, idle mixture motor and o2 sensors. if you have an auto, or abs etc not sure what happens. mine works but like i said, the fan relay error code 35 is present...

good luck Lets go Jeeping!

repaired my PCM removing the gunk was the hardest part. once the board was exposed, found a burned trace. jumpered a wire from pin 4 to the A/D ground on the board. works fine now.

note sent to a repair shop they did nothing. did find out that you have a good chance of replacing a PCM in the years 1991 thru 1995 should work on any included years. maybe be some error codes, but the motor will run properly.

Well must be same engine 4 cyl 2.5 vs 6 4.0

If you have an auto only TJ auto PCM has the converter lock up control wire

The XJ has a separate TCM for the AW4

Not to hard to fool the fan relay light
