1995 4.0 need help with this

A few months ago my motor mount broke and the distributor shaft was broken. Ever since this happened it has not run correctly but at times...which is the strange part. It will crank fine and run fine for a little while til the engine warms up ususally. Then it starts knocking and ticking and loses power to a degree. Since the motor mount broke we replaced:
The distributor
The distributor cap
The distributor button
The distributor wire
Put on a new timing chain and timed it
Ran good for a few days then started doing the same thing

I have loosened the bolt on the distributor several times and adjusted it a little. This helps the noise go away temporarily but it always returns.

Talked to a guy who thought it may be fuel pressure related but it seemed strange it all started after the distributor was broken.

So I put on a new fuel filter - Ran good for about 2 weeks same thing.
Just did the Seafoam through the throttle body. ran for a little bit...maybe a day..then same thing

Any ideas? Fuel pump?

Check the crankshaft position sensor mine went out on my 93 and it would run fine until it warmed up then it would all go to shit

Well I put on a crankshaft position sensor and a coil just in case. Same thing happening. Anymore ideas? This is killin' me. Plus the $$.

All things being equal: Are you getting any codes from the CEL?? That would be a good place to start. I assume all timing is good. You said that you adjusted the distributor- these distributors are not adjustable, the PCM adjusts the ground for timing +/- . I hope you did not use a CH07 RPT distributor from Oriley's, it will not work. At your fuel rail, is the pressure around 30# and when the vac line of the regulator is pulled does it jump to over 40#?? To me it seems more fuel related than timing. Check all grounds to body and engine. Check ground at e-brake for the fuel pump. Check fuel filter and pressure for pump or regulator. Think back to what was done if it ran fine before, something was not adjusted, not connected or broken when some of the other work was done.
