engine installed

i made my own engine crossmember with a partial driveshaft loop along with a transmission crossmember uses factory ford engine mounts and a j20 trans mount

more pics

headers, shifters, tcase and engine
i reused the factory powersteering pump just had to make a little bracket also has a gm alternator just because its a one wire and its very dependable and cheap

Nice work
I like how you tied the mounts together.Also the upside down quarter pipe/Dshaft loop

Diggin the dana 300

Only thing I can offer is it wouldve been a good time to raise the whole drivetrain and to clock the 300

anyone know what starter will work with block hugger headers for a ford 302 has to be a short starter

hey really nice work.maybe you can help me with some answers.I have a 1992 jeep wangler with a 4 cly.getting ready for a big conversion.Have a 1985 L98 tpi out of a vette using a ax 15 trans and 231 transfer.Going to be starting next week in after the flywheel and adapter comes in. here is the problem ccould use some help withthe wiring i have to add the L98 factory wiring harness to the jeep harness any help out there thanks steve

alldatadiy.com a subscription only costs somewhere around $20 there are wiring schematics there that will break down the pins in every plug that you have if the wiring is the same on your 92 i can send you all the schematics you want

couldnt find a starter that will work for under 250 so i opted to modify the header worked great hopefully i will be done this week could use the money for other jeep stuff

A ministarter I guess? I used motorsport mustang shorty headers on mine and it cleared the factory starter no problem...
