2.5 idle speed

Hey all. My yj idles smoothly at 1000 when it's warmed up. Seems high. Possible exhaust manifold leak? Vaccum hoses are all good. Any suggestions/ thoughts? It has 160k on it.

could be a couple of things. check ur plugs, old plugs will make it need more fuel to burn, also check your dist rotor and cap.

Tune it up. Mine generally idles at 900-1000 rpm though.

Hanes says it should idle between 600-900. Mines high at ignition than settles to around 700 a minute later
