hello all, new to the forums, sorta just popping in for a couple questions. I'm helping a family member with their 1994 2.5L wrangler, 159,000 miles, and I noticed some things in the engine bay that I'm not sure about.
One is a relay socket hanging off the firewall, and the other next to it is a small 2 wire connector. (both for A/C perhaps?) I also noticed what looks to be a breather of some sort wrapped up with the vacuum lines next to the battery, it seems to spew oil every once in a while from that breather.
There's also a rubber hose connector toward the front of the engine that has all but disintegrated, which connects to a valve of some sort.
Here are the pics.
Basically just need help identifying the things in the pics here, the main reason I'm working on this jeep is because the positive battery cable broke off of the fuse box, which is an easy fix.
Thanks in advance all.
