i have recently purchased a 3" bl from performance accessories and started the install.i wish i never had even looked at buying a bl but couldnt resist because of costs.it is a complete PITA so far!!!i have broken about 3 tub bolts and have yet to figure how to get them out.im sure others have had the same problem but suggestions on removal would be greatly appreciated. one is in the middle of right side.....another at very rear behind tire

First off - DON"T INSTALL THAT LIFT! its a waist to go with a bl that high... and everyone on this forum will agree with me. 1 to 2" at the most for a bl. You know why it'll be so much more of a pita after its installed if you continue.

Get a set of "easy outs".... They drill/thread into the bolt in reverse, the you'r able to crank down on them and they'll, hopefully, un-thread the bolt.

if possible heat the remainder of the broken bolt that may help loosen it if you try an easy out. don't break the easy out!!

can you weld something to the end of the broken bolt?

I believe what canadianyjkid means is that the nuts that are welded up inside the body mounts have snapped off so he didn't really break the bolts off, but rather he broke the nuts loose and now the bolt just kind of hangs there and won't drop out of the body, this happened to me when I installed my body lift. I broke the two nuts off the body mounts that are located under both the driver and passenger front seats, what you can do is locate the spot right above the mounts and drill a hole in the floor of the jeep to get to those broken off nuts, you should be able to get a socket on them, and with a little luck, break them loose. Hope this helps

ya i have both of these problems with the bolts but broken bolts will be the hardest to get out since they are some tough to reach places but making a hole to get the broken nuts should work thx 93
