360 v8 swap

hey everybody! i bought a 1987 wrangler about a year or so ago. it sat for 6 years had no rust, but ran. the trans needed to be rebuilt. the more i ran the engine the more everything started to fall apart. i have replaced EVERYTHING except the engine. it only has 50,000 miles but runs like it has 500,000. my recent problem is it wont start. no spark just fuel and air. ignition box, pickup coil, coil, cap, wires, ect... I'm tired of polishing a turd. my father has a fuel injected 360 out of his van that he said i could have if i wanted to. my issue is how will this engine bolt up. im not worried about my d35 shattering into pieces. i just want to know if i will regret this later on. thanks!

A lot of conversions are done but it is not a small task. Check the resources such as Novak and Advance Adapters to see what you would need for your set up.

Engine swaps like that can be interesting to say the least. First off, don't trust that 35. You don't mention what tranny you have nor what vehicle the 360 is coming out of. That info would be helpful.

I have a tf999 that freshly rebuilt. not sure how that's going to hold up but its ok for now. the 360 is coming out of a 93 dodge ram van. I know the 35 wont hold up, but it will be fun hearing it shred to pieces when I do a burn out! not sure if this is true but some one told me that the 360 lines up to the bell housing but the fly wheel doesn't match. is that true?
