4.0 rebuild or not

got a free cherokee has 4.0 with 240,000 miles.would yall rebuild it while its out or just do a good tune up and replace some gaskets and belts and other small things. ive heard these engines last a long time and the motor runs.also if i keep my t-case and put a 23 spline input shaft in it,i dont have to change my driveshafts.am i right on this.i know the ax15 is a little over an inch longer than the ax5.but the motor mounts have to be moved forward anyway.cant wait to get started on this project.starting in feb.when deer season is over. ends jan 31. thanks for info.love the forum.has some great info

If you rebuild build a stroker. If you got the 2.5l you will need to do more then just move the motor mounts forward.
