It is my understanding that the head will bolt right on. You will of course need the manifold and exhaust to go with the 4.0 as well as all of the electronics. I know I have read some articles on this before. Try a search on the web and see what you come up with.

A couple years ago I was looking into doing the mopar Fuel injection for $2200 plus install. I went to a local jeep junk yard and bought a 98 4.0 with 50,000 miles on it and installed it for the same price. Why do all that work on a tired engine? I love my 4.0 lots more power and it runs at any angle. I did modify it to a 96 wiring harness and installed a old style fuel rail with the preasure regulator in the rail as I needed an external fuel pump.

Here is another link you might want to check out:

http://www.fourwheeler.com/techartic...eep/index.html

It is a tech article on installing a Mopar aftermarket fuel injection on a 258. I don't know how it works, but it is available from you local Jeep dealer according to the article. Might be worth considering.
