4 cyl engine and 2cyl transmisson will they work?

oka i have a 2 cyl transmission and my friend will sell me his 4cyl engine can it work or is it not possible? my engine died and i need a replacement badly. like can i modify it somehow or am i just a idiot for even asking also sorry if i post this in the wrong place.

well there is no 2cly trans..only a 4cly ax-5 and 6cly ax-15.. the ax-15 works with both engines Though some mods are needed.

oh wow sorry i meant to click 4 lol but oka so wat about ax-5 transmission will it work with the 6cl engine? and wat are those mods exactly?

I would not advise running an AX5 behind any 6 cylinder engine. It works alright with the 4 cylinder, beyond that it won't handle the extra torque.

2.5L Genius of some sort.
