450cc injectors

Just a question, well maybe a dream J I have a 95YJ 2.5l that Iím adding the 4.0 throttle body, bore the intake for more air flow / K&N cold air intake system and riser. Exhaust has already been upgraded. I want to keep the 2.5l at this point in time.
My question is I have a set of 1993 eagle talon 450cc injectors Blue top: Numbers on them are B450L and INP-009 from a turbo 4 banger. I know this is a large step up. Donít know if they will fit or not. They appear to look the same. Hi or low impedance? Donít remember. Have not tried to connectors yet to see if they will even mate up. Also if they will bolt on will the ECU still be able to control the fuel?

Thanks for any help with this!

I ran those injectors in a turbo honda and it had to be custom tuned to run them so I imagine they would not work just by themselves with no way to control the amount of fuel being delivered. The injectors are not limiting the power of the engine but the amount of oxygen that can be placed in the cylinder. Thats why turbos work so good on smaller engines as they compress the amount of air that is then forced into the cylinder, then you need more fuel to burn that so you need larger injectors.

A 450 injector will probably work but you are never going to need some that big for the 2.5. Your best bet is going to be selling those ( to me if the price is right) and get some from a 5.0 mustang. There bigger but not overkill bigger.

I was just curious if they would run at all, and if the ECU would control the fuel to a point that the little 2.5l would still run? I am working on getting more air to it. I do have a set of injectors out of a 04 4.6 crown vic also.
If they will not run??? sinepome you can pm me about them.
Thanks for any feed back guys!
