Anything Over 4 inches you might need one, but be careful with rough country, their cheap but the Customer service is bad and the lifts arnt the best, my friend has had his on for 5 months and its starting to sag, i would recommend a Zone lift kit

Just looked up the zone 4" lift. Adding it to my possible lifts list. Why do you recommend it??

is it a yj or tj? Just asking because i've been trying to research them and i cant really find any good reviews on their leaf spring suspensions. from what it looks like their other suspensions are great.

You can run the stock driveshafts with a t-case lowering kit for 4" lifts on the YJ. Investing in sye kit would be the better choice down the road with a new longer rear cv shaft. you do not need to replace the front shaft.

Do you have a TJ or YJ? What size tires are you running?

Isn't Zones (BDS) 4.25 combo lift like 500 something dollars?

Yeah thats my only real questioning to the zone lifts. the tj is coil and links so its completely different from a yj with leaf springs. so the lift kit is made up of completely different components. its hard to find reviews on the yj lift kits. if they are as good as the other ones then that seems like a sweet deal. i like how it comes with the t-case drop and drop pitman arm as well.

I see a lot of poeple getting the YJ RoughCountry lifts, and it seems like there are as many happy with them as there are not. There is a "sticky" at the top of the YJ forum called lift reviews........look at that
