4x4 Light

I recently I had a problem when I engage my 4x4, the 4x4 light indicator does not come on. It has come on in the pass when I have used it. I did some 4 wheeling yesterday while hunting and I know that the 4x4 works because of the steep hill I climbed but the 4x4 light indicator does not come on. Any suggestions on how to figure out why it is not coming on. My Jeep is a 92 YJ.

Look on the passenger side firewall for something like this. A little blue switch where the vacuum hooks up and some wiring
