8.8 question

I acquired a good disc break limited slip 8.8 from a wrecked explorer today. I got it for a good deal in my opinion I had to pull it out myself which is no big deal as I am a mechanic and I gave the guy $50.00 so don't think I went wrong there.. anyway my question is that the 8.8 has a 373 gear in it now will I have to buy a new carrier to be able to run a 456 or will it be the same size wise as the 373? Thanks!

I am pretty sure the same carrier is used for all gear ratios...so you should be good to go.
