87 jeep squealing HELP!!

Hey everyone i have a 87 jeep 4.2 no A/C with 2 V belts. i have this awful squeal coming from my engine bay. The noise starts only after i have been driving for about 5 min. then stops shortly after i come to a stop. Sounds just like a belt squeal. So i changed the belts bought some goodyear gatorback quality belts. cleaned the pulleys with some carb clean, and tightened the crap out of the belts w/ a pry bar. After all that the squeal is still there. The truck does not make any noise at start up, and squeal only happens when im driving for a little..... anyone have any ideas what this could be????

Possible water pump...... idler pulley..... use a screwdriver/stethoscope to isolate the noise while running.

"For Gawd's sake, put a RELAY in there or you could burn the whole damn Jeep to the ground" ...this quote brought to you by people who do not understand the law.....Kirchoff's, Ohm's, or Faraday's.

Had 75CJ5, 89YJ, 93YJ. Have 82CJ7 & 95YJ____Not one burnt yet due to lack of relays.

If your belts are too tight you will ruin the bearings in the Alt. and the water pump, you may have them too tight! Check for a leak on the gasket under the Carb., air passing over the gasket can make that sound.
The Government can not give anything to anybody that it does not first take from someone else !

There are many obstacles that life throws at you, but you gotta make like a jeep and crawl over them and continue on.
