88 with 4.2 turn key and nothing????

Well just towed the jeep home. My son drove it to school and I'm pretty sure was doing donuts on the ice in the parking lot. Says he hit a dry patch while sliding came to a hard stop then it died. I haven't checked into it to much yet other the turning the key and nothing. I know it isn't the battery or starter because I can jump across the starter and turn the motor over.

Just thought before I start tearing into things maybe you guys have some ideas or things to check first?

Can't blame anyone for doing donuts in a jeep. Check the fusible links behind the battery and all wiring harness connections.
