88 wrangler

I've got an 88 wrangler that I am trying to sell gor my father in law. It looks and runs great. He has over 12 k in it after he bought it. It has been redone from the inside out.. nothing too fancy just good clean work. I am trying to get 11k for it. Am I in the right ball park.

It is worth what ever anyone is willing to pay for it, I would not pay 11K for an old jeep maybe in my area half what you are thinking. Just because alot was spent on it does not mean it's worth that much

I agree with BCDonny. If I was going ot spend 11,000 on a jeep, it wouldn't be 25 years old. A friend of mine just bought a 2010 JK for 13,500.

Im in the market for a jeep here in 2 weeks when the house closes. 12-13k can get me a 2006 rubicon with 40-70k miles on it...

Depending on your location and how serious to sell you are... I've got 5k I'd be willing to spend, message me if interested.

I'm afraid that I agree with these guys. I just did quite a bit of shopping in the CT area. That Jeep would probably be in the 4K to 6K range around here. For 11K you can buy a really nice TJ around here. 2003 TJ's with 50K miles on them were in the 8K range.

Unfortunately sinking money into a car is not always an investment.

Good luck selling!

Throw it up on eBay. Give as much detail as you can and lots of pics. It's easy to get allot tied up in a jeep even if you do the work yourself. I have over 18k in mine and did 90 percent of the work myself.....and it's 26 years old, but better than brand new
