89 front bumper

I've got a 89 wrangler and am looking to replace the front bumper, the only problem is the one on there now is not how the installation manuals from the new ones look. It's held on there by atleast 2 19mm bolts on the top. Anyone ever heard of anything like that?

That sounds right. Should be 4 bolts 2 on top and 2 on the bottom. On my 95 they were torx head bolts, but they should be a 1/2 inch bolt. Would use either a 19mm or a 3/4 inch wrench.

The 19mm is correct, like gohounds said. 2 on the top and 2 on the bottom. 19mm or 3/4" wrench fit them.

The bolts themselves are 1/2X13 thread.

Yours have just been changed by a PO to a normal bolt instead of those POS torx heads.
