89 just stops running and then starts????

Driving my 89 4.2l six, it will just stop, rpm's to zero instantly, i have eliminated fuel because it doesn't stutter, I thought maybe the coil was getting hot and shutting down so I changed it and it still happens? There is a loose wire in the steering column that keeps the horn honking ( well atleast until I unhooked it under the hood). Could this be a loose wire, Bad ignition switch?

Also if you put it in neutral or let it stop, it will start up instantly.
