89 YJ 2.5L sputters

I been having this problem for awhile. When taking off it will just start sputtering and acts like it wants to die and then I'll shift and half the time it will do it do the same thing. Its the worse when I hit a bump it will automaticluly sputter and when it sputters there is sometimes a weird smell that I can't discribe. And on the highway you can feel it lose power randomly but just for a second and be fine. I replaced distrubitor cap and rotor, spark plugs, fuel filter, and catalytic converter.
Also my oil pressure is pegged out but I dont know if that has anything to do with it.
