My 89 YJ dies while I'm turning and downshifting. Help!!!

More details on the engine would be helpful. Engine size, any modifications.

Different engines have different problems/solutions.

1990 Wrangler 4.2L
Howell TBI, 2.5" OME springs; OME Nitroshocks; 5/8" OME shackles; Swaybar discos; 31" tires/15" rims

Sounds like the engine is getting bogged down and can be caused by various issues. If your not very mechanically inclined take a picture of the engine and we'll tell you what you have and try to help with your problem.

2.5L four banger or a six??? Carbed or throttle body??? No info in profile so it could be anything help us out post the pictures and we can get you started.

89 2.5 TBI, 4" RC lift, 1" Booms, SYE, Adams Driveshafts front and rear, Ford 8.8 with 4:88s, BFG 33X12.50X15, and a ton of other stuff.

^^ Plus, if you have a carb. there's a good chance the float is hanging up.
