My jeep wouldn't start yesterday and when I was troubleshooting, I noticed the starter was crooked. It looks like one of the bolts came of of the starter housing. The starter works fine so now I have to re tap the holes for new bolts. I am assuming the vibration rattled the bolts out and stripped the holes along the way. My question is: Is there supposed to be any kind of fluid in the area where the starter goes into or is it dry?
