90 yj 2.5

I was under the hood today and noticed a busted hose. It's coming off the back if the air filter box. Here's some pics. It suppose to go somewhere I just done know where it's suppose to go. I've tried looking at pictures online but didn't find anything. I found what looks like it might be the other end of the hose. It's the last pic. Thanks for the help.

I found a diagram on a different post and I believe the broke hose goes the the pcv in on the valve cover. What's the adverse effects of this hose being broke

If that's the PCV hose, without it will cause excessive crank case pressures and it will result in oil coming out of the easiest exit. Sometimes its the dipstick tube other times its the rear main seal, or valve cover gasket. I would get it fixed ASAP.

It's fixed. I guess that's why I always have a mess on the valve cover.
