90 yj frame

So my frame is not straight anymore. I found a frame for 150 but has a hole by one of the shackle mounts. Would it be easier to repair it myself or have a shop repair it for me? Also it is a 95 would I. Able to put my 90 body on it ?

Yes, the 90 will fit on it. Just not sure if an already rusted out frame is worth 150. If going that far, might as well call Collins or Daveys and see what they want for a rust free one. They have a ton. My concern with the frame you are considering is the center section where the capture nuts are for the skid plate. The nuts break all the time from rust and then you have to cut into the boxed frame to repair.

I would call Quadretec or 4WD Hardware. I did a lot of research to find the cheapest and they were it. Make sure you buy the latest design. The first design was a little problematic. I got the original design and had to modify a little. I called Autorust and they explained that they changed the design for easier install. With that said, may make sense to buy direct from AutoRust. You can go on their web and read the install directions. Remember- measure and remeasure and remeasure B4 putting saw to frame

Well, got this post mixed up with another one. If you repair the frame, see previous post, if you are looking to replace with a rust free: google Collins brothers jeeps or Davey's Jeeps out of Texas. They have a stock pile of them
