'90 YJ glove box removal

Help please. I am trying to remove my glove box on my '90 YJ so I pull the ECM to have it tested & I am having a hell of a time trying to get the glove box out. I have removed most of the dash at this point (I also have to replace dash lights), but the glove box just will not budge. Does anyone have any suggestions or has anyone else run into this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are four screws on the back holding it in place. Two on each side. You can see them with a flashlight if you stick your head under there and look up. Getting them out requires a small ratchet, phillips screw bit with a socket to fit it, and lots of patience.

Thank you for the information & help Wrangler Haven. I just went out & looked, & it looks like I have to remove the aftermarket A/C from under the dash to get to the screws. I think at this point, even if it tests good, I'm going to replace it so I don't have to go through this again any time soon. Thank you again.

I just removed my 89's, and there are 4 1/4-20 nuts that hold the grab bar/glove box frame on. You gotta drop the AC to get at them.

The computer hides back there.
