91 2.5 die's going around turns

ok guys thx ahead of time for your advice but here is the issue
91 2.5
when i go around turns or hit a big bump in the road my jeep die's
i thought maybe somehow the pick-up tube in the fuel tank fell off
so i dropped the tank and its fine still connected and everything
i did notice that one of the vent valves on top the barb fitting has broken off
i can't say if that was existing or happened when i dropped the tank
after it dies it will always start back up
except for the other day when it died it would not, so i had to get a tow
after the tow she started back up
that was about a hour of sitting!
any ideas
thx farmer

Maybe a loose ground somewhere cutting power to the fuel pump when you hit a bump or flex the frame? It would be difficult to ohm out since it only happens under certain conditions though.

If it were me i'd run some speaker wire from the positive and ground terminals of the fuel pump up to a spare 3rd brake light or trailer light in the cabin, and see if the light goes off when it dies.

Wait is the '91 carb'd? Maybe the fuel float is getting jarred and stuck shut? My carb-fu is weak, but maybe poke around under there and see if you can get it to stall out by jiggling components around while it's idling.
