91 wrangler 2.5 inch leaf spring lift

Hi this is my first jeep. I need new leaf springs and was wondering if anyone knew about the 2.5 inch lifted leaf springs. I found some by ranchero. my question is do you need to replace anything besides the springs and the shocks? I just want a little lift nothing big and dont know what else, if anything i will have to replace if I get the lifted leaf springs.

I just did a procomp 2.5 lift and 1.5" shackles on my YJ. You will have to either remove or relocate your trackbars, extend or remove your swaybar endlinks, and if you are going to wheel at all you will want to relocate or extend your brakelines.

I have a 2.5" lift (OME) and 1" shackles. I have removed my track bars but still have my sway bar and break lines are stock. I don't have any problem with brake lines or sway bar. You should be able to install springs, shocks, and maybe a tc drop, but thats about it. Have your front end re-aligned.

I didn't have to do brake lines on mine. I did put the t case drop on and just removed the track bars. The oem sway bar was fine too. And mine is just a 2 1/2" lift with stock shackles.

lift

can I lift my yj by relocating the axles under the leaf springs? I see some Cherokees like this but not sure if it is possible on my YJ? are there any parts I would need other than whats exsisting now?

This is my first jeep, sorry if this is a stupid question.

They make spring over axle kits. Its a lot of work but its been done a million times. Search around the forums and you'll find plenty of threads about it. Cherokee come from factory this way if I'm not mistaken

I put a pro comp 2.5" lift on my 95 an used some axle wedges to rotate the axle to help pinion angle an I've had no problems with it.
