91yj half doors on 95yj

Hey guys. Just picked up a set of half doors for 50$ mint shape too!
Went to put them on my 95 yj and they don't fit! Seems that the lower hinge is different. The door doesn't drop low enough to catch the striker. Is there a kit I can buy to make this work? Or is this a cut and relocate the pin on the door type of thing? Thanks for any help. I have a welder and can do what needs to be done.

Post a pic, maybe we can help. The doors are inter-changeable through all the years of the YJ. Even the 80's CJ7 doors will fit although most of them have a different latching mechanism.

Well I got the driverside to go on. But the passenger side is being a pain. The driverside is very hard to close. Almost like there is something wedged in the door jamb. There isn't anything though. Here is a picture of the passenger side. It looks like the hinges might be twisted slightly, or not inline with each other.

I figured it out! The doors are completely adjustable once the hinges are loosened! Loosen up the three torx bolts and she adjusts up and down and front to back.

Thanks for the tip! I got everything lined up good now. I don't want to move the striker as I still have my full doors and I don't want to adjust everything on them or move the stricter everytime. Thanks for the suggestion!

Oh ok. Good point on that. Glad it worked out.
