92 Monstaliner Job

For the past couple of weeks I've been working on prepping my YJ to Monstaline it. From everything I've heard prep is what makes the job. So I took everything off I could. All lights, the dash, seats, console, fender flares, etc. Got my kit in to spray it and went to town. Here are a few pics:

After:
Pretty pumped about the final product! It was super easy and looks great! I've had it out twice since the job and have had three compliments already. Glad I did it.

It's a do it yourself roll (or spray) on bed liner.

Monstaliner do-it-yourself roll-on truck bed liner outperforms Herculiner Bed Liner, Duplicolor and Rustoleum Road Warrior

If I read it right, its guaranteed not to fade or chip for life. We'll see...

There are a few others on here who have done it as well and recommended it after a year of use.

Looks good! I'm not much for blue vehicles but that color looks sharp on your jeep. Nice job, did you spray or roll? If you don't mind my asking what was your total cost? I just bought my jeep a month or so ago and my plan is to enjoy it this spring/summer and start rust control and painting this winter.

Thanks. I sprayed it on with their recommended spray gun.

Cost:
Monstaliner (3 gallons) & gun - $520
Tape and plastic from Home Depot - $19
Prep time - 35ish hours
Paint time - one and half hours
Complete dry time - close to 24 hours before I was comfortable with it.

Looks awesome! I will some day do this to my Jeep but the logistics and cash are not in the near future...though I am seriously thinking of at least doing the tub this summer.. Just not sure what all I need to purchase and how much to do that job....more research I guess.

But I imagine you aren't talking about doing the entire Jeep? Also I imagine you weren't using actual Monstaliner...

If you were, let me know how you got it so cheap

What kind of compressor did you use to spray this on with? I have one but don't think it's got enough air power to spray

I have a DeWalt compressor and I believe it has 100 psi. I've read it runs best at 60 psi.

Sounds like it'll look pretty sharp! Have fun - as soon as I started spraying mine I was pumped at how it looked and how easy it was.
