'93 YJ won't start
This morning I went outside to start my Jeep (4.0 5spd) just like every other and she fired right up. I went inside to let her warm up while I had a little breakfast. Went back out to leave for work, and she's no longer running. I get in and she cranks very strongly but will not turn over. I can hear the fuel pump kick on when I turn the key into "ON". She must not have been running long because the temp gauge was not registering anything.
Should the tach bounce while cranking? It isn't doing so.
I cranked it for quite awhile and didn't smell fuel, I called a buddy and he said the crank position sensors go bad which may not allow the fuel pump to run during cranking.
