Question 94 yj voltage reg. acting up

anyone gone thru this yet. ive been a mechanic for 20 plus yrs. never seen a voltage reg in an ecm or pcm? im told the pcm i have has to be rebuilt but i dont trust the place in my area due to bad reveiws. any yj master mechs out there?

You could bypass it like this guy did. Cheaper than a new ECM.

anyone else going thru this be sure you pull the pcm from behind the washer res open it up clean it and resilicone it mine has cracks it the old siicone seal over cercuit board which proly caused the malfunction
