94 YJ wont start

jeep just kept turning over, changed fuel filter, fuel pump, wires, plugs, dist., rotor. Jeep would start if i prime throttle body with quickstart. Would run for hours like new, turn off and try to start again like 20min later, no start. Took off throttle body and cleaned, after reinsall throtle body, used throttle body cleaner. Ran good but after about 15-20min would not start again, just keeps turning over. Only can start with quickstar. WTF????? anyone else ideas?

When your cranking it do you hear the fuel pump kick on to prime the rails.

I would check both the ASD (auto shut down relay) and the fuel pump relay and make sure both are good.

If they are good and still have the problem you need to pick up a used PCM from a 92+ 4.0 rig and that should fix your problem.

Without a crankshaft position sensor the engine will not run. The CPS controls the firing of the injectors. Before spending $500 on a ECU check the CPS.

I spent $100. Took 5 mins removing/replacing PCM... Best investment I've made so far.
