94yj starter removal

Need some help trying to remove my starter without stripping the torx bolts heads. The bolt heads are both set in vertically and are right next to the transmission housing and makes it tough to get a normal socket up there. Any suggestions?

Never had an issue removing the starter with the proper socket. What's the issue???

Use an extension that's what I did on mine and I didn't have a problem getting it off and out either.
